Weekly Newsletter - Week 2

This week at Camp Mazal was amaaazing! We had soo much fun at the fire station on Monday. Fireman Arielle to the rescue! She got to dress so that all of us could see how heavy the equipment is and how fire fighters are not really scary just people with their uniforms on. She even got to climb the ten story ladder. We also made the yummy meringues which were pink, purple and white (even if you couldn't tell). Tuesday's swimming lessons at the civic center were really fun. Everyone's making such great progress. We also made our clay masterpieces which literally broke into pieces but still came out beautiful. Who knew clay was so fragile! Our horseback riding trip was rained out so we went to ZigZagZoo instead. It was tons of fun! All the slides and tunnels made for a great game of hide and go seek. We painted our clay art on Thursday. The counselors ended up getting painted too. We had a puzzle hunt with the treasure hidden in the freezer. We had a sponge relay race and an obstacle course. Friday was frecktail day and everyone looked so cute with their freckles. We made yummy cookies with tons of sprinkles and had a fun game of freeze and justify. We also learnt this week’s parsha - Pinchas and this week’s Ima and Abba were Zahava and Leah.
Can't wait to see you all next week having even more fun!
You counselors,
Rivkah
&
Arielle
