Hey Camp Mazal!
We had an amazing second week at Camp Mazal! We started off on the farm, picking strawberries in the field; it was hard work, but sure was worth it! They were Deeeelicious! We learned all about the Holidays of Sukkot and Simchat Torah. We walked over to the Aaron HaKodesh in our Shul, danced and sang around the Beemah. On Wednesday, the rain didn’t lower our spirits one bit!! We had an exciting time at the Stewart Museum: we saw soldiers parading on the fort grounds, a blacksmith heating metal to shape a knife and Scottish soldiers dancing. Camp Mazal also paraded as proud Jewish soldiers outside of the Museum, singing our Camp cheer and the song “Hashem is here, Hashem is there, Hashem is truly everywhere!!!!” On Thursday, we learned our second bracha Hamotsi. In honor of this special bracha, we made our very own Challah covers and PIZZZZZZAAAAA!!!! Pita, tomato sauce, vegetables, mushrooms and don’t forget the spices!!! MMMMMMmmmmm good! Finally, we learned about this week’s parsha: Balak. Camp Mazal has some true acting talent! Well, we had another week of smashin’ fun and there’s loads more to come, so stick around!!
Good Shabbos!
