Hey Camp Mazal!
We just completed our first week at Camp Mazal! The Flying Mazals and Mini Mazals had such a blast! We started off our week with a knock out at the Bowl-O-Drome. We learned about the sweet holiday of Rosh Hashana and had a sticky encounter, feeding our blindfolded co-camper sapples dipped in honey. Mmmmm, so yummy! We build a letter box decorated with bees to remind us of Rosh Hashana. On Wednesday, we had fun in the sun all around the Laval Nature Center. What a blast! All the campers helped row our gigantic boat down the stream. We began our swimming lessons on Thursday and molded a Kiddush cup out of modeling clay for our first Bracha of Hagafen. Look how shiny it is; almost like sterling silver! Finally, we topped off our week with a Shabbat party, challah baking and a splashing time outside!
